I played the first release of this enjoyed it a lot. However, I only did one playthrough. Coming back for the update, I did a few more and enjoyed it just as much! I love how meditative, thought-provoking, funny and informative the text is. I love the care put into each character to make them unique and grounded and their rationalizations well thought out. I love the interaction with the other NPCs and how you may stumble into a small sidequest. I love the minimalism of the art and sound design and how they nail a certain feel of the place and story. I feel a bit claustrophobic and unnerved in the environments, but I also come to know them and fall into habit. I feel almost secure then, as if there is a clear way to go, until it suddenly changes. This happens in dialog as well, it really is a great synthesis all coming together. Talking to other people who have also played, it seems experiences are diverse, which is really cool!
Definitely one of my favorite dialog based games.

If I had any criticism, it would be more suited to any future games made in this style. Mostly what I would hope for would be a way to view text history, and that's about all I can think of.

Thank you for making this game, I hope to see more!
